Hi I have been worrying about my iran visa and time tableing. Once I apply and hopfuly get my visa code, I then take this code to a embessy and they give the the visa right? How long do I have between getting the code and having to pick up my visa?

Thank you in advance. George

Iran visas

Hi can't help on length of validity, but no applications are presently being accepted until 5th April, due to the Iranian new year. I missed getting mine in by one day, so now have no hope of seeing anything before 20th April

I have found the answer to my own question.

Once you have recived your code from the agency you have 3 months to pick up your visa. from that point of actually having a stamp in your passport you have 3 months to enter Iran. at which point you have 1 month in the country, which is apparently quite easly extended for another 60 days when you are in the county.

Hope this helps some body

Well I've heard from Magic Carpet UK it is one month between code and stamp - but as you say 3 months from then to enter....

It takes up to 3 weeks for the visa permit number to be issued (to whichever
consulate globally that you request) you then have one month to get the visa
physically stamped into your passport. You then have a further 3 months to
enter the country.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
