Insurance for one day for moving a bike in the UK
 

Hi,

A friend has just bought a bike down in London, but he lives in Edinburgh. He currently doesn't have a license yet as he has it booked for the beginning of January. So my brother has volunteered to drive it up for him before christmas.

Whats the most economical way of getting my brother insured on the bike for this single trip?

My brother has a license and has fully comp insurance on his own bike which includes 3rd party on other insured bikes (i think thats correct?)...but i persume that is irrelevant as the friend wont be able to get the bike insured with out a license?

Is there some kind of one day insurance policy you can get? ...or should we just rent a van for a day with a one way drop off?
