Insurance on VIN number, companies?
I'm in the process of importing a bike from the USA into England, and need to get insurance, on the VIN number only, until the bike's registered.
As I'm leaving the country in March, I would ideally like to get a short term policy, can anyone recommend a company that can provide this service, ideally at a reasonable rate..? As a side note, I would recommend anyone needing a VOSA SVA test, avoid the Bristol centre if at all possible. Thanks in advance for your help

It's probably not revelant for you, but just to get info for other hubb members.
I did it recently with Carole Nash insurance and Watford VOSA centre(very tough procedure). Not easy but finally got new plates.
