Pakistan Visa woes...

Does anyone know how to get a letter of invitation from a sponsor in Pakistan when you don't know anyone in Pakistan? I assume there are people who would write such a letter for a fee? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Lost Horizon Treks and Tours - Northern Pakistan's friendly, professional tourism experts these guys will do one for you AND it isn't going to cost you a bean.
There are quite a lot of threads on this subject on here but I hope your not applying in London, there is a good chance you'll get refused there, got to Birmingham instead.

Cheers
Pete

I am in London. What do you mean about going to Birmingham? Do I literally have to go there?

I take it you are using an agent then if you're not visiting the embassy/consulate? I thought you had to visit in person but that would appear to be wrong.
I'm not sure how it works with a third party being involved.
London has a high refusal rate but the consulate in Birmingham hand them out more readly.
What route are you taking?

Thanks for the advice. I have tried emailing the link. Their website says they no longer provide letters of invitation but I have mailed anyway. I guess the only option is to ship the bike from Iran to India... has anyone tried that?

You could always use an agent. I cant remember the name the guys we used a few years ago but it may have been Visa World Passport and Visa Processing Agents Visa Services to Embassies and Consulates. Cheap it aint... but if there is no other way to get one....
Others may know of a current agent.

Cheers,
John

Each month we meet many GB.citizens riding through Pakistan..
General idea for visa is: (For all countries)

Best is to make the application personally..Consulate officers are not so serious, black and white people..You will meet some colorful personalities such as the soul of adventure riding..On the other side they earn quite good money on visa formalities...

Talking is the best way to express your ideas, targets, dreams and to understand each other...You will be much appreciated for the spirit of travelling in you...

Most interesting part your trip will be the one there...Also you will meet many Pakistani good friends and bikers...Why do you think to miss it...

These words are for the people who has credits of his names...

From Iran to India airfreight...Probably you will be the first one..

Wish you all the best.
