in costa rica

hello.....i am an american citizen in costa rica.......i am interested in buying a bike here ( kawasaki klr650)....and riding from here to the states.......will i encounter any problems when i am crossing borders, remember, i will have costa rican tags

No, as long as everything (registration etc) is in your name, same as your passport..and they are not made at Disney World. History: I rented a car last year in S.J. It did not have any tags. I inquired and was told there was a shortage. Not convinced I insisted on a tag. They installed a "Mickey" plate. Two weeks and no problems. I love C.A.

where in CR?

Hey Ready2Ride,

Where do you live in Costa Rica? I'm riding down there in mid-March, primarily to deliver a motorcycle, but will hang around a few days before flying back to the States. I'll be in the Jaco/Quepos area on the Pacific coast.

Bike in Costa Rica

I have a 100GSPD at the San Jose BMW dealer and am trying to return it to the US I will sell it. It is set up for serious travel.
