How much to deposit ?
I have read numerous pages and sites about the Carnet De Passage, but I cant find anything on how much to deposit.
We are planning a trip to India in January, and are concidering to buy either TransAlps or Africa Twins early 90 models. How much do we have to deposit, and are there sites that we can find info on how much to deposit for bringing them to India

This is only valid in Norway:
Deposit = The value of the bike + 10.000 NOK. To find the value of the bike they simply call a bikeshop / carshop... Price of carnet=4.000 NOK, 30 pages, valid one year. As a deposit you can use bank guarantee. Mail me if you like some more info.
