How much approx. cost a World Trip takes?
Hello!
I want to travel across the world (at least 40 countries). I want to know how much a wolrd trip costs (average cost) including all the necessary requirements. and is it safe to travel across the world during this US-Iraq war threat and other threats of today's world (terrorism)???......

I'm sure you realize that there is no correct answer to your question. Do you want to post a new record for having done a RTW trip the cheapest way possible? Or do you want to have fun doing it, and a certain amount of comfort? And, are you going to walk around the world, use public transport, or bring your own vehicle? I did such a trip last summer with a motorcycle starting from Ottawa, Canada, my hometown, flew with bike to London, then went overland to Singapore, flew to Australia, travelled around, then flew with bike to Los Angeles, and drove home to Ottawa. Cost: approx. US$15,000 total, for four months and seven days. Stayed mostly in hotels. So take it from there, and have fun. That's what it's all about. Life in any of the countries along the road is as safe or as unsafe as at home.
