GPS and Mobile phones at Russian border
 

Hello everyone,
I'm planning a trip around the Baltic and into Russia in July.

What's the story on GPS and mobile phone equipment at the border?

Reading through previous post I believe I must register the GPS with Glavgossvyaznadzor.
How long does this take?
What about mobiles?
Leaving in a month!!

Last year I crossed the russian border twice with my GPS on the bike and I used the cellphone while doing my paperworks at the border office.... no questions, no papers, nothing.... just do it!
