German Export Plates
Does anybody know how long can the German export plates are valid?(6 months??)and if you buy a new bike in Germany as a US citizen can the dealer does the paperwork for you?

You can choose from 1 to 12 months.
Normally, dealers will register a bike for you, I wouldn't expect a problem there, as long as you supply all the necessary papers. Have you read all the posts here about it? Are you aware of the restrictions? If not, use the search function and have a good read.
