General question about Carnet du Passage
The CDP, one understands, is no longer needed for most countries.
I was wondering, however, whether, although not necessary, the possession of one could facilitate entry to X country (i.e. make life easier). (At present I'm trying to ascertain the need for a carnet for Jordan, Syria and Turkey, and also Iran. I would get a CDP, if I get one, from the Automobile Association in Oman, at what I consider to be a reasonable cost.)

I needed one for Iran and Turkey. Maybe its changed.
