finally! a cheaper green card

Poly & I have FINALLY found a Bulgarian insurance company that will sell green card insurance for europe to us for people with bikes not EU registered!

cost is
60 euros 1 month
100 euros 2 months
140 euros 3 months

3 months at a time is the limit. but it can be renewed.
this is valid for all the EU countries, doesnt include non EU like Ukraine, Serbia, etc. (this is the same insurance as mototouring offers)
I've used it the last few years, & had no problems.
we will need a scanned copy of the bike document with tag number & VIN
and a copy of your passport or drivers license
(or if you have an expired green card, the info needed is on there)
we will scan & email you a copy of the green card, and snail mail the hard copy to you, anywhere in the world.
(the last 2 years I've passed German customs at the airport with just the scanned copy)

email me at motocampbg@yahoo.com if interested.

Doug

we are still able to do this, and surprisingly, the rates have stayed the same. I think we did it for about 45? bikes last year, and not a single problem

info & everything else is the same as in the above post

This is good news indeed. I plan to visit your place this summer on my moto loop through west and eastern Europe.

Hi, I've tried to contact specified email, but no response. Maybe my mail got spammed?

I'd love to buy green card.

Just my experience as an US citizen who bought a motorcycle in the UK: It was impossible to find green-card insurance for a foreigner that would cover a UK motorcycle, in the UK. So I was in the bizarre position of having to ship a perfectly legal motorcycle from London to France for lack of insurance.

Thank God I found this post, which not only allowed me to ride in the UK, but was super easy and 5x cheaper than anything else I had found. Great service, thanks Doug!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
