Green card from Groupama

Just spoke to Carole Nash insurance about green card to be told it's £60 + insurance tax.
Isn't that why I paid £50 more to be insured with Groupama?
Because the green card for certain non-EU countries was included?
Apparently Groupama now charge an additional fee which they didn't when I took out the policy.
This charge (green card £30 + 6% tax + £30 admin fee) applies to each green card issued. Looks like I'm buying insurance at the border despite having already paid for it....
If this is made clear when you insure, all well and good so you can make an informed decision, changing halfway through seems like taking the piss a bit.

I've been trying to find an insuror in EU who won't charge like $170 US per month !!! Not to mention 50 quid.
Still looking...I know from what RTWDoug has done that Bulgarian ins is pretty cheap , like $30 USD a month...it's just getting an insuror to bind a policy over the internet.
So if you come up with any ideas, or know someone in Bulgaria (maybe Slovenia or Greece is also cheap)...let's organise an insurance collective or summat' like that
