Export from USA for a non-US registered motorbike
 

I brought my motorbike from Germany via ship to the US - and currently now stuck in San Diego.
I visited the US customs office in Otay Mesy where a sign at the office said its closed for the weekend - even as the webpage (as i figured out just now says it had to be open that time). Now the webpage says it is closed on sunday for export.

Is there any other way which I can do that?
One of the customs office mentioned a broker?
May that be an solution?

Didn't find anything using the search engine - either I am to dumb to use ist - or it is not there.

Sorry Pete - I don't get the meaning of your post.
I just had some questions and maybe someone can answer them.
Even more maybe the answers can help other people as well.

I thought that was it was this forum is all about, sharing knowledge, helping other people and enjoying the travel stories of so many.
Am I wrong with this?
