As above!

It is quite clear that I don't for most of west africa, but will I have a problem in SA and with the shipping of the bike?

I cannot state for certain that you do, but I found having one made my entry to SA and most other southern African countries very smooth and quick, I have not me anybody who did not have one.

looks like you need a carnet check out aa.co.za you'll find carnet info in there,sounds like the trip is smoother with one west africa?,see ya ron.:cool4:
