Any ideas on how to save money here??

Durban to Southampton (port to port)
Cargo : 1 x Used Honda XL600LMFMotorcycle (driveable)
Ocean Freight Rate : USD 684 FLT (ramp to ramp) per unit (excludes shipping costs at Durban and landing costs at Southampton )
Plus Tariff BAF of 23% (subject to increase)
Ocean Freight Rate validity : end November 2008

This is what I got to bring my bike back to the UK. Can anyone please let me know of a good agent to use in the UK (or Durban)to clear my bike? Can I do this myself?
It is a uk registered bike on a carnet.

I shipped a Land Rover from Walvis Bai to Immingham and was recommended to use John Good Specialists in liner agency, freight forwarding, port agency, road haulage, transport logistics, shipping and storage. John Good Shipping. The port I used was Immingham because it was convenient to me. The office there was quite helpful and the process was painless.

When I shipped into Cape Town I used Advance Transport > Contact Us ( DNN 3.2.2 ) who were excellent. I don't think they have an office in Durban but they might be able to make a recommendation. Try emailing charlotte@advtrans.co.za who was of great help to me.
