carnet and insurance- lack of knowledge and understanding
 

I'm going to buy a mototbike in South Africa and so I can only get a carnet and insurance once I'm there (I think). I don't have a motorbike or driving licence yet and am totally clueless about this sort of stuff. Does anyone know a good place to buy a carnet or insurance in SA or it be best to try buying online? Sorry if this is a stupid question and theres a really obvious method of doing things - I wish you could just buy the bike and go without all the complications. Thanks so much for any help, Jasper
