Buying a car in Morocco,Carnets insurance etc
hey all
I am just looking for info on buying a 2wd in Morocco(Casablanca).Can this be done by forigners? I will be heading to Senegal via Mauritania and hopefully selling or ditching the car in Dakar.I need as much info as possible on obtaning carnets,insurance etc for the countries above. Cheers.guys.

Hi, this is going to be difficult or expensive.
You cannot enter Senegal with a car older then 5 years without a carnet and if you have a carnet, you really cannot sell the car ...

Yes you can get into Senegal without a Carnet - your problem is getting out without the car - difficult.
Forget it is my advice. Andy
