buying bike in thailand and paperwork
hello there,
ok, a job is never finished until the paperwork is done(just came from the toilet). situation:because i prefer an other bike then the enfield to cross iran/pakistan back to belgium, i thought of buying one over here (bangkok). to be in order with my paperwork (carnet de passage and everything) i need to register the bike i suppose. is this possible for me and don't you think 60000 baht (or 1400 dollar) is a lot of money. what do i do if i'm in belgium afther a few months? pay that same amount again? do i need to obtain my carnet over here? if you can help me out.more then welcome. greetz a belgian traveller

Hi Niels,
Can you follow up on your post and tell what happened? Where did you get your carnet? Did you sell the bike? I'm planning trip from Thailand to Europe. So any info is appreciated. Thanks, Beedee
