Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

Hi... practical question: we'll be traveling into Macedonia this summer, but as my bike broke down, i'll probably use trui's bike, which means we'll enter the country with two bikes owned by one person, and me not being the official owner of the bike that i ride... appearantly you need a MANDATE then from the owner, stating that it is ok that i ride it. trui's had this kind of hassle before in turkey, and was forced to consult a local attorney to make up the document, even though she was there, saying that it was ok that someone else rode her bike.
we'd like to avoid that, and wonder what such a document should look like and where on earth we can get it...
