Bike Insurance for former Soviet Countries
 

I'm renting a German bike in late summer, and doing a 1 month loop from Munich, encompasing countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, etc. I've been led to believe that full comp insurance covering theft or loss of the bike may be available at each of these countries' entry point border crossings. There is no theft/loss coverage from any of these rental companies in Germany.
I'm wondering if the info I've gotten is true, or can you get insurance to coverall these former Soviet Bloc countries?

all the country`s you mentioned are now in the EU exept Bosnia (who has applied to join ) any insurance you buy in the EU covers all other EU countrys you could by Bosnian insurance at the border but they have always exepted my EU one in the past
