Bike insurance in Australia

Hi from Canada. We have motorcycles we keep in Australia. Try this site for information. www.ezyreg.sa.gov.au or www.transport.sa.gov.au . These sites are for insuring in South Australia. Hope it helps you. My husband is hoping to get there again this winter. Beth

Help....

Thanks for the replies...

But - haven´t really gotten anywhere... :censored:

Looking for riders who have used their own bike (non-aussie-reg.) for travelling in Aus - that is, shipped it to Aus - and figured out how to get a third party insurance for the bike???

Thanks... :cool4: GSDane.

Try this website:

http://www.ipe.nt.gov.au/whatwedo/mv...07-2006-03.pdf

Bsically it says that your Danish rego and 3rd party insurance is valid as you are a "visitng vehicle". The website is for the Northern Territory but I think all the other states would be the same.

And here's another one which explains 3rd party insurance more comprehensively.
