argentina rules changed ?
 

can anybody clarify please ?

on entry to argentina i receive 3 mnths in passport ad vehicle permit got 8.
the only logic for this is it acts as an encouragement to people for leaving vehicle in country and then returning before 8 months has expired.

this i intend to do in May.

however. yesterday i was told by somebody that they believe rules have changed and if you try to fly out of BA the immigration forbid as you obviously now do not have vehicle.

this to me seems illogical and would love to hear from anybody who has direct experience ?
