Applying for Indian Visa in UK
 

After sending my passport to the Birmingham office 3 times I'm still without an Indian Visa due to incompetence//website/ etc - and the flight left without me (£ouch!£)

Do not 'Apply Online' (no such thing in reality) and instead do what I should have done and that is apply in person to your local office.

As a PS, the Indian Embassy no longer issues visas themselves and have subbed the job out to a 3rd party ,since July this year. Depending on your location you now have regional offices to apply to.

I see the frustration has started early, oh dear - best get used to it on your Indian journey! Commiserations :funmeterno:, but the trip will be all the more memorable...
