Alternative Routes to Sudan
I'm starting to get very concerned about trying to take my Land Rover into Egypt. Carnet issues, cost and general hassle etc. seems unusually high at the moment.
Does anyone have any alternative suggestions about how we might drive to Sudan / Ethiopia / Kenya etc.? Is there a 'non-war-zone' route traversing the Sahara or Sub Sahara heading east from Maroc / Mauri etc. going through Mali / Chad for example, that anyone can help with or offer advice on?
