Xmas in Ushuaia
 
Heading for Ushaia and Xmas celebrations. Hurray
Know there are a few travellers out there heading the same way. Thought I would start a thread so we can all keep in touch and end up on the same campsite. So Who else will be there? What´s the best place to stay? When do people expect to arrive?
I suggest whoever arrives first, post some directions and info.

Hi Liz and Chris,

Can't give you an ETA yet, but some 4X4 friends of mine suggested the La Pista del Andino as it was close to town. I'll let you know when I arrive. By the way, they booked as it's more than likely will be busy.

Hi Chris, Katja and myself will be definetly there. Glenn, a belgium biker we are travelling with should be there as well. Alex and Henno, another german couple are on the way as well. Aprx. arrival time is 20 the of Dec.

Thanks for the replies and info everyone. We´l be down there around the 22nd we think. If Rio Pipo is the traditional site then that´s good enough for us! It sounds like booking ahead is a good idea though.

Well, I guess my first post was in the wrong place. I was at the La Pista for the XMas Eve celebration, the guy on the old Honda Touring bike. What a great group of people and what great food!

There were so many cameras flashing that I never got around to taking my camera out. Could someone send me pics of the group? Just respond to this and I will send you an e-mail that can handle larger files.
