Xmas in Ushuaia

Heading for Ushaia and Xmas celebrations. Hurray
Know there are a few travellers out there heading the same way. Thought I would start a thread so we can all keep in touch and end up on the same campsite. So Who else will be there? What´s the best place to stay? When do people expect to arrive?
I suggest whoever arrives first, post some directions and info.
what do you all think!

see you soon
Chris

Hi Liz and Chris,

Can't give you an ETA yet, but some 4X4 friends of mine suggested the La Pista del Andino as it was close to town. I'll let you know when I arrive. By the way, they booked as it's more than likely will be busy.

Best wishes Alec.

ps. How did the tank repair go?

Thanks for the replies and info everyone. We´l be down there around the 22nd we think. If Rio Pipo is the traditional site then that´s good enough for us! It sounds like booking ahead is a good idea though.

See you all there. Mine´s a ceveza

Well, I guess my first post was in the wrong place. I was at the La Pista for the XMas Eve celebration, the guy on the old Honda Touring bike. What a great group of people and what great food!

There were so many cameras flashing that I never got around to taking my camera out. Could someone send me pics of the group? Just respond to this and I will send you an e-mail that can handle larger files.

Thanks!! Hope to see you all on the road someday.
