Morocco May 2005

I'm heading off to Morocco later this month (17th - 27th) on my XT600. Don't have an exact plan but it will involve crossing the Atlas and on into the desert around Zagora.

If anyone else is planning to be there at the same time let me know, it could be good to meet up.

Cheers,
Chris.

Hi, I will be leaving from Sete in Southern France on May 15th, the boat arrives in Tanger, Morocco.

I'm planning a mixture of accomodation, I will take my tent but I think mostly I will try to stay in small hotels.

Hi Airhead,

Do you have a plan of where you will go in Morocco?

my plan is approximately:
17th May Tanger to Chefchouen
18th May Chefchouen to Midelt
19th May across Atlas through Dades
20th May across Jebel Sahro to Zagora
21st May go to see Dunes beyond Zagora
after that make my way back north

This is only a rough plan but if you are planning something similar it would be good to meet up at some point.

Cheers,
Chris.

Cheers.

Chris, you're the victim of aggressive caching, either on your server or your own computer - sometimes you have to FORCE a refresh by holding the shift key down and clicking refresh or reload. As you see now, it WAS there, but you only saw the cached version of the page, not the newly generated one.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
