Dear Mauro,

we think, a good time is beginning of September in Turkey. Then it is not too cold in the mountains of turkey (it can be very rainy and cold up there!!!) and not too hot at the beach.
We travelled from August to December 1994 and that time was good for us!!!
Just too short!!!!!!

Thanks RalEva,
you know i actually will start from Addis Ababa - Ethiopia- and i was planning to leave mid-end of June towards Sudan, Egypt,Jordan, Syria, TURKEY and then as mentioned route to india... so if you say september from Turkey maybe i should leave Addis around MID July so that i will be in turkey in about September....
What do you think and thanks a lot for the info.

Dear Mauro,

It sounds very, very HOT!!!! To travel through the SAHARA and the region you wrote in summer??!!
I've been in Syria in August and I would NEVER do it again!!!
Don't be too early in India, it's raining season. Beginning November would be good!
You should drive the Karakorum Highway, if there are no problems!!

If you can, enjoy your trip!!

Thanks again RalEva,
i do understand and i am a bit worried especcially for Sudan, but i have not much options or is June (my departure from Adis) or is no departure at all. So i think i will prefer to suffer a bit, but still do the trip. It is not easy to manage to have the right weather all the way ..
But thanks a lot for the suggestion, and please if you have any other info please share them.
Have a plesant day.
Mauro
