Talking Laos then China

I am currently in Laos only after checking out of Thailand, crossing the froendship to find out motorcycles are not allowed to cross there anymore.
Anyhow, I got in after some conversation and will go to the north at the wnd of the week and try to cross the Mohan border into the Yunnan province of China. Then next stop is Kaz. and into Russia. Anyone else keen?

Good luck with China

We are heading across from London on the 1st June. Keep your eye out for a red R100 GS and black R80 GS. Would love to hear if you make it through China with out too many problems.

China - I wish!!!!

We are returning to Hong Kong where we lived for years. Been working in London. Not through a lack of trying, but we never found a way of getting to ride through China to Hong Kong, so we are going to go across Russia and ferry to Japn where we shall ship the bikes to Hong Kong - we shall fly from Japan.

If you are interested our route is on our site kenandtoni.com

Good luck with your planning.

Ken

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
