Ulaan Baatar to Magadan
 

Hello All,

I plan to leave UB in about 3-4days, heading east to Choibalsan and making the border crossing at Erdeenstav to Borzya/Russia.

Via Tynda/Yakutsk I want to go to Magadan.

Somebody around who would like to join?

FYI, 2 weeks ago I crossed into Russia at Erdeentsay from UB/choibalsan and the Russians forgot a special stamp on my motorcyle declaration document, could be a problem for you in Vlad or were you plan to exit Russia. I was lucky to have Yuri in Vlad work on the problem for me.

Yes, it's a square black and white coded image that can be read by computer's. Missing it could have been a big deal here but the customs official understood that Erdeentsay screwed up not me. Maybe they don't have the equipment to produce the stamp??? When you get there you will understand how far out in no mans land the border crossing is Ha.

You are right. That is really no man's land! :-) And I got: No barcode label. So, i will be running into the same thing!
But he wrote some sentences on the paper + put 2 stamps + told me, that I will need it in Vladivostok...aha? Let's see! :-)
