Meeting in London

Hi all,

Yes a meeting in London would be great. If it's London locals, we could do it in the city/westend. Or we could do the Ace Cafe on the North Circular – not too hard to get to for people from outside the North of London.
Whichever way – count me in :)

Hey Crazymanneil

Maybe we should get in touch. Your route sounds very similar to what I've got in mind. Destination Sydney, with an option for the old RTW, depending on how long funds last and how I like it in Oz.
I'm open to all routes. I quite fancy Italy - Greece - possibly Eastern Europe for a bit - Turkey. Then through Iran/Pakistan, or through Kyrigistan into China and then Pakistan. Then India, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia (with hopefully lots of island hopping (would love to see Borneo). Planning lots of camping and about 1 year for the whole thing to Sydney.
I'll send you a PM with my contact details, so we can have a chat if you like.

Hi All, can I suggest a London meeting on Sunday 29th July. Im in the Kingston area, if you let me know where you lot are from, we can meet central to us all. We all seem to have similar plans (Europe, Turkey, Stans, Asia) and leaving dates, so could perhaps start together then see how it goes once on the road. Brian.

London Meeting

I'll not be able to make the London meeting but would appreciate it if one of you guys let me know your collective plans.
As I said in earlier posts - I plan to depart around May 08 and go down through Eastern Europe, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kahzakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and then back across Russia, Finland and Norway. I plan to take about three months forthe trip. I'd prefer company to do it and hence the post. Would alter route to fit in with others plans.
Cheers
Paul

London Meeting

Hey guys, great thread. Unfortunately not sure I'd be able to make 29th, (mostly due to the bit of water in between me and you). Never been to Ace Cafe either. :( Though keep me in the loop - this is getting interesting.

Cheers,

Neil

Hi All, So it seems the 29th is ok for most. We can do the Ace Cafe or somewhere central, any other suggestions. For those who cant make London, keep tuned to this thread.Brian

Count me in

Hey guys. we've been planning a similar trip with PaulM. I'm shipping my bike over and picking it up on Monday 5 May at Felixstowe. After that, we're pretty flexible. I would like to get back to the UK for the HUBB meeting in July; then I gotta see my dear ol' Mum in North Wales before getting the bike back for shipping on 7 August.
Cheers
Mick and Colleen

Sounds an ace trip you guys getting organized to do. Would love to join you on the 29th meeting but am doing a BMW offroad skills course then - as recommended at the HU UK meeting in July :)

Could well be interested in meeting up with you all somewhere into your journey middle of 2008 though as I'd like to end up Thailand, Japan, Australia, NZ at some point

Cheers!
