Smile Uk To Oz In Small Van

Hi , i am teresa, from suffolk uk. im planning a trip in a small diesiel van. My aim is to get to south east asia, and hopefully to oz, or how ever far she takes me . hoping to leave late december early january.
The route i have got planned at the moment is EU , TURKEY, IRAN, PAKISTAN, INDIA, BURMA, LAOS , VIETNAM OR SINGAPORE.
Then to ship van to oz . Or would it be better to leave van in singapore, then fly to oz, then travel by rail and coach . Or is there a way to get the van by boat.
Is there anyone out there with any info on a better choice . Look forward to he
aring from you . Many thanks Tress

P.S. What paperwork , and was told i need carnets , is there any other info i need to know to get me on this journey , thanks Tress .

All info you need on Carnets is on this site, just do a search search. Myanmar (Burma) is a no-no for vehicles so you'll need an alternative route. I guess you could ship from India to Malaysia (e.g. Port Klang) or if you've got £££s, you could try China. You could prob also ship from Pt Klang to Oz as I believe Singapore is a bit of a pain for vehicles.

sounds like a hell of a trip. You looking to travel with others? Or solo?
Im going to be leaving north east england end of december begin of january and traveling down to the west coast of italy, as my place is there.

I might be heading to south of france first for a few days, not sure yet.

Let me know if your wanting to travel a wee bit with companions?

Mike

SEEING WHAT TRIP INTAILS, HAVE GOT A LOT TO SORT OUT BEFORE I LEAVE,THIS TRIP IS BASED ON ME GETTING MY COMPENSATION SETTLEMENT, WHICH HOPEFULLY WILL BE CONCLUDED BEFORE XMAS. THIS HAS NOW BEEN GOING ON FOR 4 YEARS, SO AS SOON AS I RECICIEVE THE CONFIRMATION I CAN MAKE THE EXACT DATE FOR LEAVING. CANNOT WAIT TO GO , TRESS.
