Turkmenistan on the 23rd of May. Anyone around ?
 

Hi everyone,

I just got my turkemnistan transit visa for 5 days, starting on the 23 of may - pretty long procedure by the way. I should enter from the Iranian boarder and go up to Uzbekistan ? Are there anyone in the region willing to share this journey ? I have been told the police are like cowboys and can be pretty cumbersome with lonely travellers...

You're there about 3 weeks earlier than me so won't be able to make it but keep in touch and let me know how you get on as i'm going through on my own and would be interested to see how you get on with the local gendarme.
