Tunisia

Hi

Having travelled from Cape Town to Cairo over the last 4 months, I was hoping to cross Algeria to Morocco after Lybya. Somehow there is no way to get a visa for Algeria from Egypt so I decided to end my trip in Tunisia. I am looking for travellers who wil join me on the El Hamma - Tataouine and Douz - Ksar el Ghilane (T1 &T2) tracks in Tunisia.
I am riding a BMW 1200GS. I will be in Tunisia beginning of week 43 (23 October 2006)

bob,

i'm looking at doing a North Africa traverse -- Maroc to Egypt (yes, i know the Maroc-Algeria border is closed, trying to find a way to go by ship from Maroc to marseilles and then back to Algeria to continue to Egypt), and wondering how your trip went and if you have any problems to share.

private email best, i cannot yet post PM : zigyphoto@aol.com

thanks

Hi Bob.

did you managed for entry visa to Libya ? if not, you need to contact with one of the local tour operators for such as paperworks and border formalities, which takes about 7-9 days.
good luck.

Hadi
