Transfer China/Tibet-Nepal Oct. 2013
 

Hello!

I am seeking travelers to join me on this transfer.

Planned entry from Kyrgyzstan (Tourgart Pass) on 10. oct. 2013.
Looking for an 22 days transfer with guide towards Nepal, enter at Zhangmu.
I drive an 4x4, expedition Land Rover Defender. Just rebuilt and 100%.

This is an very expensive part of the trip, so it would be nice to join up to share all the costs :-)

Initially I will be alone in the car, along with the guide.

Short history:

I will launch from Stavanger, Norway, around mid august 2013. Then route down Sweden towards Poland. The Ukraine, Russia and the whole Kazakhstan towards Almaty. So down to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Then down towards the Tourgart Pass, China. Meet up with the guide on that day, 10. Oct. Drive a route China and over the Tibetan Plateau via Lhasa towards Nepal. 22 days transfer. Base Camp, Mount Everest, is included.

After enter Nepal I will do some hiking for a while. Then exit to India and do the country. Celebrate christmas and new years eve in India.

Looking for people to join me on the China/Tibet transfer.

Update:

At the moment we are:

My car (with a seat for the guide)
1 German MC-biker
A French couple in their 4x4

The transfer price (22 days) is at $ 8463,- for the whole group.
Hotels/guesthouses and food is included for the guide, not us.
If anybody else would like to join, the price will increase, but will be cheaper due to the split cost.
