I am embarking on a RTW journey beginning in North America in August 2004. I plan to be in Africa sometime in January or February 2005 starting in South Africa and going North. Not sure if that meets your timeframe or route plan; let me know or anyone else either way!

Hi,
I'm heading down to Morocco beginning of Oct. The plan is to travel around Africa in a Land Rover for 4 months or so. The first leg (roughly one month) is down to Gambia. From there, it's wide open depending on the political situation. Hopefully it will be possible to head east to Kenya (roughly another 6 weeks), and then down southeast Africa. What's your plan?
