My wife and I are travelling from London to Sydney via Europe, Turkey & Iran. Then either through pakistan & .N India or shipping to Singapore. We'll then travel around travel around S.E.Asia then on to Australia. We expect to leave in September for about 18 Months on an Africa Twin. Anybody going our way at that time ?

Hai,

I'll probably see you on the road somewhere along the route.
I'll leave from the Netherlands next august and head east. Also on an AT.
I won't stop at Australie but cruise on towards South America and head north then. I have no idea how long I will be on the road... but I am not in a hurry and plan to follow the sun.

Maarten, look forward to seing you. Its our intention to follow the sun also. We're not sure how long we intend to stay in various places. If we like some where we'll stay longer and if we don't we'll move on. Thanks for your reply, good luck....Bob

Hi All,
We are Canadians heading the same way on a BMW R80RT.We arrive in London early May and plan on camping through Europe, Turkey and Iran till October. Then "probably" ship the bike to Malaysia, and tour S.E. Asia in November to January, then fly Bali to Darwin and spend February and March in Australia and New Zealand. Our plans are taking shape, but we only have a year and it already seems to short...Hope to see you all on the road,Keep in touch and good luck

Cameron

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
