Hello,
I'm planning a trip in the end of 2010.
I want to send my bike in october with container (boat) to Togo.On the 29'th of november (birthday) i go by plane to get my bike. A friend of mine has a hotel in togo and will help us do the customs.
Starting in Togo and go by Burkina faso to Mali and go to Tombouctou and back to Togo. I'm planning to do this in a month.
If you have similir plans or want to go with me pleas let me know. The dates are flexibel but it has to be at the end of the year because of the rain season.

Mmmmmm. Tempting. I don't plan quite so far in advance, but I'm often in the area and often riding a bike when there.

But between now and then I'm headed for South America, so who knows? Are you planning to track interest and keep people posted as your plans evolve (as they generally do)? Count me in as "definitely interested and capable but noncommital at this time."

good luck!

Mark

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
