to central and South America on a honda
 

Hi everyone
I am planning to ride from the u.s to central and South America departing end of November beginning of December
I will be ride a Honda not sure which one yet
If you want to join me for part/all the way or if you have some information about riding a motorcycle throw c/s America

I think the choice of a bike begins with the idea of the trip!
May be you are a tarmac rider so only softtrail experience needed.
Do you like speed or a take it easy fellow.
For speed a Transalp,Africa or varadero.
For offroad a XR 650L or a NX 650(dominator)
Take a tent,sleepingbag etc.Soft or hard luggage?
Maybe start a search in this site and you can beginn to know what is better for your riding style.
