me too

greetings, i'm traveling the same route. most likely not the same way once arriving in South America, since i'm bringing along rock climbing gear. weather abiding, i'm leaving the day after christmas, also on a klr 650, i'm around 30, stopping first in hidalgo, a limestone canyon called el potrero chico until new years. or a few days after. then moving south again. it would be nice to travel with someone through central america. my email is climbingbobs at gmail dot com - hope to see you down there.

Hi everyone, a friend and I are leaving from California on Jan 4 and riding to Santiago. Planning on taking 2 months to get there but not sure. We'll probably ride most days. We are riding a BMW 650GS and 1200GS. It would be great to share the road or even a meal with other riders. Direct email jimdallas2 at yahoo dot com.

leaving soon

Howdy all, I went for a little shakedown ride toady and all seems to be in oreder. Except my Helmet is a bit tight with my new ear phones installed, Any Ideas? But other than that it looks like the weather will be nice on Weds. I should take 2 days to get to the border and then a quick service befor crossing over on the 1st +/- 1 day. Then the plan is quick across mexico then slow across CA.

pocketumbleweed where are you comming from?

Hopefully we will all cross for a somewhere.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
