I'm going to be in Tbilisi a while longer, waiting for some new sprockets, if anyone is passing through feel free to drop me a message and join me in getting fat on and cheese breads.

I'll be there in about 10 days or so, will you still be around?
If not any recommendations for accommodation, eating etc?

I might be around, i shall let you know,

the old town (looks for the bridge next to the cable car) has a vast quantity of food places, look out for the biggest shwarma kebab you have ever seen on the the main cobbled street which heads up to rustaveli (or something like that)

On both his street and rustaveli there are a ton on hostels, however BHM hostel next to the beeline shop on Rustaveli has a courtyard fork the bike, as does on one of the smaller hostels in the old town, next to a quirky little venue called antique cafe.

You wont go hungry in Tbilisi...

I will be in Tbilisi probably first days of September. Have you looked around hostels?

What i have looked few from their websites they have some courtyards etc so i think bike can be stowed on some places though i dont plan to stay very long time in Tbilisi as i plan to drive around Georgia&Armenia about two weeks.

Hey Sami;

We might be around Tblisi towards the end of 1st week of Sept. Turkey visa runs out on the 5th. We'll be entering from the border near Kars. We're two up on an Africa Twin.

Take care and have fun!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
