Syria, Jordan, Israel.?

I'm in northern Greece now heading for the southwest coast of Turkey and into the other countries maybe. Is there anyone wanting to join up for a few days or more, I'm camping most of the time and on a BMW1150GS. I'm hoping to be back in the UK by May 7. Text 0032 477 739 713

Hi PM,
İ´m ın the south east of Turkey right now and are on my way to Aleppo. İ cant take the rain much longer, so İ´m planning to spend some time in Aleppo. Maybe we can meet up there.

Hi Rinus

What border crossing will you be using? We need to get in without a carnet

We were thinking of the one close to Yayladagi...apparently very quiet

I feel your chill!

I just did the reverse - up from Aleppo through Turkey - and it was the most rain and cold I've had in quite some time (north through Africa the past 9 months). I hadn't ridden in rain since Mozambique back in October.

I'm on the Mani penninsula, southern Greece, where its sunny for now.

I forgot the name but it's the one close to Antakia. I didn't have a carnet and it cost me about a eighty euros plus thirty for the visa. And two hours going from one office to the other. It was just me and two amerikan guys there, they had been waiting sinds early morning.
I've been in Aleppo sinds yesterday and look around a bit more tomorro, then, of to Crak du chevallier, see if the camping is open there.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
