Sudan to West coast thru Chad and Niger? Anyone want to join for an adventure?
 

Hi all, I am travelling alone and have met loads of people along the way. I am currently in Ethiopia Addis and trying to figure out how to get to the west coast. The problem is I dont have a carnet for Egypt so want to cut across Chad and Niger.
I am a single female with a 80 series Land cruiser and have a free seat for anyone adventurous enough who would like to join or any other biker or overlander who would like to do this route.

I have everything you will need from tent to sleeping back to a freezer :)

Hats off to you! I'm not going your way, but will be very interested to know if you do manage to get through. We (2 girls and a girl dog) will be travelling up the Atlantic coast from South Africa next year. I drove from the UK to Cape Town in 2006, but crossed the Sahara from Morocco to Egypt then came down the East side as you couldn't get through at that time. I long to visit Chad and it may be an option for our return after next year's trip.

I'm also interested to know how you find driving on the 'wrong' side of the road as I've always found that tricky without a co-pilot. Please let me know.
