I'm back in Arequipa, busy growing bones after breaking my shoulder a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry to hear about the broken shoulder; not overconfidence on the ripio again, I hope?

Enjoy your break (groan!). Plenty of time to straighten the bars and bash the panniers back into shape while you're mending.
