Hi Torria, well done, you really made the right decision leaving the moto in LaPaz I and the moto got even muddier getting from Uyani to Pitosi. Keep on going south girl, carratera 3 is a piece of cake and the Valdes penninsula is worth a visit but I think most of the action will be finished there now still, it´s a nice place. The Canadians were nice wern´t they. Ride safe, Mike

Hi Santiago,
From Buenos Aires I am not going south to Ushuaia but north in to Uruguay and then to Brasil. Have a great trip south.

Hi Matt,
I stayed in the San Telmo district at the Buenos Ayres Hostal 320 Pasaje San Lorenzo.
Cheap and modest and centered in the southpart of DT Buenos Aires. It appears the most centrally located area is around Corrientes Avenue and Florida. Most Hotels do not have parking but there are lots of parking lots to safely park and lock the bike.

Bill S is on his way from Ushuaia and should arrive in BsAs about the same time.
I'll send him an email and let him know.

Have fun in BsAs, eat lots of beef!
Torria

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
