You don't say...!!!!

We're doing almost the same!

We leave June 1 to go to Hammerfest and we will go back through Finland, Russia, the Baltics and Poland...!!!

Our plotted route in Norway is this one (just copy/paste in google):

Stay in touch, we might end up a part of the road together?

I posted a reply to a similar thread.
You must do the western fjords, Ålesund, Geiranger, Lofoten islands etc.

You probably miss so much nice roads and sights by going E6 you'll have to come back one more time to see what everyone else is talking about Chef

If you're in a hurry go E6 if not take the outer road e.g. Road # 17 from Steinkjer to Bodø and so forth...

We are taking a similar trip the same way this year basically, but I want to get the most out of the ride up by hitting as many nice MC-roads up as possible without going twice the distance.

Also a bit risky going this early, we have snowfall still in Southern Norway (6th of May) and a lot of icing and snow as further up you go, several roads are still closed (even in South) as they still have not cleared them for snow. Keep an outside temperature gauge on the bike and if you see 4 degrees plus or lower beware of icing.

Best of luck on your journey...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
