Baja Bound Feb 5th Looking for Riding Partner

Hey All,

I am a 25 year old taking a first time trip to Baja Mexico beginning Feb 5th. My trip will be 6 days. I would like to have someone else to ride along with if you are planning a similiar adventure. I will be riding a KLR 650 and would like to do a mix of both on and off road. Thanks!

Get ready GO !

Hello from the Baja, I am living good at the southern end on the beach. If I may throw a few things out there. klr great bike for the trip.6 days is better than never. If you are trucking your bike to border say so,maybe someone will throw if with you.Decide where to cross Mexicali from the east or tecate from the west. Not exactly sure but drop down from Mexicali or tecate to maybe "Mikes Sky Ranch" GOOGLE IT!oR JUST GO FROM MEXICALI TO SAN FELIPE TO GOZAGO BAY AND COCO'S CORNER WORLD FAMOUS.tHEN HEAD WEST MAYBE pACIFIC SIDE,sAN iGNACIO, SCAMONS LAGOON OR SCORPION BAY. MAYBE YOU ALREADY HAVE A ROUTE WITH LIMITED TIME YOU SHOULD.Know how to adjust bike for dirt and sand.Tent , fuel water good to go good luck. If you end up south of La paz drop drop in . The more info or questions you put in your post the better luck you will have .Look at other posts for guys leaving usa for mexico I know theres a few around your time. Stay safe, cross the border early and have a good ride.

Road Report 4 U

The 5th is a bit early for me. I'm thinking of riding to Carnaval in La Paz early March. The following link has the current road conditions.

Good Luck.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
