Seek 1 to join TransAmTrail ride May 2001
Seeking someone to join TransAmTrail ride from Nashville, Tennessee to Moab, Utah in May 2001. The Trail is nearly all offroad and goes all the way to the Pacific Ocean at Port Orford, Oregon. I will only go to Moab, because I have committments to other riders to go north into Canada from there and on to Deadhorse, Alaska, before heading south to Ushuaia, Argentina. The buddy system for backup in emergencies is my idea of a smart thing to do, especially when offroad exploring in unfamiliar out of the way places. Sam Correro plotted the Trail and developed roll charts to guide riders from one end to the other. For info concerning the Trail Sam's addy: sam@transamtrail.com. His website: www.transamtrail.com/main.htm. I am 63, a university grad and retired. Please contact me if interested in joining Punky (my Yorkie) and I on any part of our 2 year adventure tour, which begins May 1, 2001.
