scotland 25th Aug for the week?
Heading for Scotland next week two up with the wife and another couple. Starting at Livingston near Edinburgh heading up the east side across the top and down the west side & Sky. Any one else doing it that week. We are camping / b&B/ hotel depending on weather !

quite a wet week but worth the trip if only for the Kyle of Lochalsh to Skye. Add to your "bucket list".
Midges on Sky? Terrible in the morning after camping. Horrible horrible horrible. Buy head nets ! Spray ( 3 types) did not work. Point to note: if it is windy the ferry from Mallaig may not be taking Bikes over due to "insurance" It is a long way there and back if you can't get on, but nice road. If you pre-book they will txt to tell you if bikes are suspended. We didn't pre-book.
