After almost one month of waiting for the correct parts to arive for my V Strom DL1000 ( Stator and Rotor ) I{m ready to hit the road again! God what a long time!

I started having charging issues in Guatamala in mid May. Had a major problem in capital of Hondourous where my Power Comander went down from the charging issues / low battery. Once stock plugs were back in I was able to continue on to San Jose w/ nightly charging of battery. My planned repair started here on May 28th.

Between finding out that first I needed only a new stator then finding out one of my Magenents had come loose on the Rotor, wrong part ( Rotor) shipped and on and on, HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of dollars ( almost 2k w/ wrong part imported ) I{m ready to start again.

Anyone in the area drop me a line. Lost my riding partner a long time ago.

I was able to take a bus top Bocas Del Toro and visit a friend I know out on a remote outer island and had a great time snorkling for a week! Not all was lost I guess!
